I have been an athlete my entire life. I was raised with 3 brothers in a family that loved sports so that is where my passion began. I knew from a very early age that no matter what career path I chose, I wanted to help people. I was lucky enough to find the career path and the degree that I wanted to pursue early on in my college career and there was no turning back. I fell in love with helping people through fitness because of how much it affects people’s’ lives not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well.
I am motivated to be a Burn Athlete because it forces us as trainers to take ourselves out of our comfort zones. On a daily basis we are asking our clients to be uncomfortable, train harder, lift heavier and ultimately go way outside of their comfort zones. I want to inspire people and show them that we all have individual goals no matter what phase of our fitness journeys that we are in.
To me, the Burn Mission shows that there is so much more to health and fitness than just the physical realm. It is so important to know and to appreciate all other components that can affect someone’s decision to change their health and ultimately change their lives. The Burn Mission allows us to really show our clients that we care and understand the trials and tribulations of taking on this journey, and ultimately makes us better trainers for doing so.
