My name is Corbin Burkard, and I am your Head Trainer! One of my biggest goals as your Head Trainer at Eau Claire is to create personal relationships with you all. When I first got into training a couple years ago, I didn’t realize how truly personal, being a personal trainer was. I have come to believe in my time training and coaching, that the more we can relate to each other on a personal level, the more fun we will have, and ultimately… see more results!
I grew up in Menomonie, WI where I first fell in love with exercise and weight lifting in high school. I was never a very big kid, so for me it was a way to better myself for sports. After seeing the results at a young age, I was absolutely hooked. My passion for sports (in particular football) took me to UW-Eau Claire to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. My eyes were again opened to a whole new way of exercising when I played football for UW-EC, and put on close to 50 pounds in a year (…I think mostly muscle… some of it was the cafeteria). When I was done playing, I realized weighing what I did was not the right fit for me, and that is when I was first truly introduced to high intensity interval training (HIIT) training. I lost about 40 pounds, and got in the best shape of my life. That was the moment I knew I wanted to train people, so you could see results, so you could have success, so you could find out so much about yourselves just like I did.
Right before I graduated from UW-EC with a Kinesiology major, and business administration minor, I received my Certified Personal Training license through the NSCA. I quickly began working as a trainer in the Eau Claire area, where I absolutely fell in love with the work. I did not realize what it would ever feel like to truly WANT to go to work the next day, I didn’t think that was a real thing! The opportunity for myself to work as a Head Trainer for Burn Boot Camp, in a community that I have grown up in, and come to love, is almost too good to be true!
My name is Auggie Moser and I am a trainer at Burn Boot Camp Eau Claire. I was born and raised in small town Tomah, Wisconsin. I played many sports growing up as a kid, which included soccer, basketball, track and field, wrestling, and powerlifting. I was a varsity soccer player for 4 years in high school and received all conference honors for two of those years. I was a 4 year varsity track and field athlete and two-time state qualifier in pole vault. I also qualified for state in powerlifting my senior year of high school, although powerlifting was not considered a high school sport. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business Management. With that being said, I understand the importance of physical fitness and the many benefits exercise has on the body. I have always enjoyed helping others reach their goals and found that helping someone reach their fitness goals can greatly change ones whole perspective on life. Whether it’s looking better and feeling healthier or making life’s daily activities easier to accomplish. The Burn Boot Camp community is something that I have not seen in any other gym and it is something that makes this place very special. I bring a positive and fun atmosphere paired with high energy and intensity to any camp I am training. My main goal is to ultimately push you to achieve your goals! I look forward to working with you!
My name is Kyle Frank and I am a trainer at Burn Boot Camp Eau Claire! I’m very excited for this opportunity and to be a part of the Burn family and work with each one of you! Back in 2007 while finishing up my last couple years in college earning my degree in Criminal Justice, I was living a very unhealthy life that consisted of heavy drinking, lack of movement, and terrible nutritional habits. I weighed in close to 240 pounds on my 5’7” aka short frame. There was a moment when I was getting ready to go to work and as I put my jeans on, I adjusted the pockets and ripped a hole right in the crotch of the jeans. It was in that moment that I decided to make a change to my life. I dove headfirst into the world of fitness and nutrition, studying and learning everything I could get my hands on. I tried many different things and had some successes and failures along the way, but I dropped 80 pounds and more importantly have been able to maintain that weight loss for the past 8 years.
A few years ago, I was working as a correctional officer at the Stanley Correctional Institute and really began to dislike that line of work. I didn’t feel as if I was making a positive impact in the lives of people like I have always wanted to. I left the correctional facility to pursue a career in the fitness arena which is where my true passion lies. I now own my own nutrition company franchise, The Diet Doc Eau Claire and am excited to be able to begin a new chapter of my fitness career, training at Burn Boot Camp! I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your own personal goals and aspirations. I would love to get to know you and hear your personal story and what your goals are so we can reach them together!
