I reached a point I couldn’t power through.
For most of my life, I’ve defined myself as strong. As a wife, a friend, a mom, a leader, I’ve always been someone who shows up, pushes through, and gets it done. Strength, to me, looked like discipline, consistency, and grit.
But after my third baby in 2020, everything shifted.
My body felt unfamiliar. My energy was gone, drained in ways I’d never known. I found myself caught in a quiet struggle between who I had been and who I was now. I remember standing in my closet just weeks postpartum: overwhelmed, emotional, searching for something, anything, that made me feel like myself again.
And the truth is, that feeling isn’t exclusive to new moms.
It shows up in different ways, in different seasons.
In the early days of the postpartum energy drain, yes, it’s there. But it shows up years later, too, when life gets full, when schedules take over. You spend so much time showing up for everyone else, you realize you haven’t shown up for yourself in a while.
That’s exactly what “A Moment for Moms” has always been about.
It’s a simple invitation for our Members to bring a mom in their life to a free 45-minute Camp, just for her.
One hour to step away from everything she’s carrying, and step back into herself.
Motherhood looks different for all of us.
Biological moms. Adoptive moms. Stepmoms. Caregivers. Mentors. Women raising families in ways that don’t always fit a single definition.
But there’s a common thread I hear again and again:
You give a lot.
And somewhere along the way, you can feel a little lost inside of it.
What I’ve learned is this: strength isn’t just about what we push through. It’s about what we come back to.
It’s not just physical. It’s emotional, it’s setting boundaries, choosing consistency, and asking for help. Sometimes, it’s just showing up, even when it’s not perfect.
Sometimes strength looks like hitting a PR in the gym. And sometimes it looks like getting everyone out the door with shoes on.
Both count.
At Burn, we’ve always believed in removing the barriers that keep women from prioritizing their health. We know time is limited. We know childcare matters. We know community changes everything.
But what I understand more deeply now is this:
Most moms don’t lack motivation.
They lack support. They lack space. They don’t always give themselves permission to choose something just for them.
That’s what we’re here for. We know how hard it is to find a gym with childcare. That’s why our complimentary Childwatch is so important.
At Burn there’s no pressure. No expectations. It’s just a supportive place to show up.
To move.
To reconnect.
To build strength, at your own pace, in a way that actually fits your life.
Because this isn’t about getting your body back. It’s about coming back to yourself.
‘A Moment for Moms’ is an invitation for our Members to bring a mom in their life to a free 45-minute Camp. Because sometimes that’s all it takes. Just one moment. One choice. One step forward.
Strength doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.
But if you’re showing up, if you’re trying, if you’re finding your way back, even slowly, even imperfectly…
You’re doing better than you think.
And that’s something to be proud of.
