Static stretches involve holding a position for a certain amount of time. But researchers say it can actually weaken the muscles and slow performance. A dynamic warm up aides in short term flexibility. And studies suggest it is the better option to improve sports related activities like soccer. I developed this dynamic warm up at Burn Boot Camp.
