Exploring The Purchase of an Existing Burn Boot Camp

Buying an existing Burn Boot Camp franchise is one path to ownership within the system. These transactions follow a defined transfer process that includes specific fees, approval requirements, and access to certain financial records. The information below outlines how ownership transfers work and what prospective buyers can expect.

Can You Buy an Existing Burn Boot Camp Franchise?

Can You Buy an Existing Burn Boot Camp Franchise?

Yes. Existing Burn Boot Camp locations may be sold or transferred, subject to the transfer terms and right of first refusal disclosed in the 2026 Burn Boot Camp Franchise Disclosure Document. Within the Burn Boot Camp system, ownership of an existing location follows a defined transfer process. This includes specific fees, approval requirements, and conditions that apply when control of a franchise changes hands.

What Is the Burn Boot Camp Franchise Transfer Fee?

What Is the Burn Boot Camp Franchise Transfer Fee?

The transfer fee paid to the franchisor is $12,500. This flat fee applies to any change of control transfer, regardless of whether the buyer is a third party or an existing franchisee. Partial ownership transfers that do not constitute a change in control are not subject to the transfer fee. Instead, they are subject to a $2,500 Admin and Legal Services Fee. The transfer fee is paid to the franchisor. The purchase price paid to the seller for the business itself is negotiated directly between the buyer and seller and is not disclosed in the Franchise Disclosure Document.

Does Burn Boot Camp Have a Right of First Refusal on Transfers?

In addition to the transfer fee, ownership changes are subject to approval conditions within the system.

Transfers are subject to a right of first refusal, other than partial ownership transfers that do not constitute a change in control.

Can a Prospective Buyer Review the Existing Location's Financial Records?

Access to financial information is part of the resale evaluation process.

Burn Boot Camp may provide the actual records of an existing outlet to a prospective buyer.

This allows a resale candidate to evaluate the opportunity based on the specific location’s operating history, rather than relying solely on system-wide financial performance representations.
