According to the 2026 Burn Boot Camp Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated total investment required to open a Burn Boot Camp franchise ranges from $221,324 to $823,123. Of that amount, approximately $53,500 to $103,248 is paid directly to the franchisor or an affiliate.
This range covers everything needed to develop, equip, and launch a new location: the initial franchise fee, construction, technology, inventory, pre-opening marketing, and working capital for the first three months of operation.
The investment range of $221,324 to $823,123 reflects the real cost of building and opening a Burn Boot Camp location. Because no two markets are identical, the FDD presents costs as a range rather than a fixed number. What drives the variation:
● Facility size & local real estate conditions.
● Construction & leasehold improvement costs.
● Lease terms & required deposits.
●Equipment, technology, & supplier requirements.
A typical Burn Boot Camp location operates in approximately 3,600 to 7,000 square feet. Facility size is often the single biggest variable in total startup cost.
The Item 7 investment table in the FDD breaks the total into these major categories:
● Initial franchise fee.
● Leasehold improvements & construction
● Exercise equipment & fitness training infrastructure.
● Furniture, fixtures, & interior signage.
● Technology systems & required software platforms.
● Initial inventory of branded apparel, supplements & accessories.
● Pre-opening marketing & grand opening activities.
● Professional services, permits & deposits.
●Working capital for the first three months of operation.
Burn Boot Camp requires the use of approved or designated suppliers for equipment, technology, flooring, signage, and inventory, which is reflected in the estimated ranges above.
The initial franchise fee for a single Burn Boot Camp franchise is $60,000, paid as a lump sum when the Franchise Agreement is signed. It is nonrefundable.
The fee covers the right to operate under the Burn Boot Camp brand and system, and includes the Initial Franchisee Education Program for the franchise partner and up to two additional team members. Franchise partners are responsible for their own travel and lodging during training.
Burn Boot Camp participates in the IFA's VetFran program. Qualified veterans with at least a 50% ownership interest receive a 15% reduction on the initial franchise fee.
Beyond the initial investment, franchise partners pay ongoing fees that support the system, brand, and required technology.
6% of Gross Revenue.
2% of Gross Revenue. The franchisor may increase this fee with 90 days' notice, but the total cannot exceed 3% of Gross Revenue in any calendar year.
Franchise partners are required to spend $15,000 on local marketing between signing and two weeks before opening, another $15,000 from two weeks pre-opening through 90 days post-opening, and a minimum of $3,000 per month on approved local advertising for the remainder of the franchise term.
$100 per month from signing through lease execution, then $860 per month thereafter. The fee cannot exceed $1,500 per month under the terms of the FDD.
Additional contingent fees, including transfer fees, audit costs, and additional training fees, are outlined in Item 6 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.
Burn Boot Camp does not offer direct or indirect financing. Franchise partners are responsible for securing their own capital.
Burn Boot Camp works with ApplePie Capital as a preferred financing partner for candidates exploring third-party funding options. ApplePie Capital is an independent lender, not the franchisor, and financing is subject to lender approval and individual qualifications.
Opening costs are only part of the financial picture. Franchise partners should also plan for recurring operating expenses including:
● Facility lease or rent.
● Payroll & staffing.
● Utilities & facility maintenance.
● Local advertising spend.
● Technology fees & required software.
● Equipment maintenance & replacement.
● Ongoing inventory purchases from approved suppliers.
The FDD's investment estimates are based on an owner-operated business model and do not include owner compensation or benefits.
