The Debbie Morgan Burn Bootcamp Huntersville Weight Loss Story is all about a simple motto: “Eats Clean & Train Hard!” Debbie is such an inspiration to busy moms everywhere. Juggling a crazy round the clock work schedule and raising 2 boys AND still finds the time to come to BBC at least 5 times a week. She has made fitness and nutrition a priority and it shows! “I started at burn boot camp 8 weeks after having my second son. I was active during my pregnancy but I felt out of shape and I was still carrying most of my baby weight. Like most women, I was unhappy with how my body had changed and I thought there was no way I could ever get toned after having a 9lb baby!
Over the last year I have seen so many changes in my body. I am 5 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight, I have lost 5% body fat, I’ve gotten leaner, stronger, faster and I’m building lean muscle. I started doing pushups from my knees and now I can do just about any kind of pushup Devan throws at me! I have progressed from assisted pull ups to unassisted reps. I’m lifting heavier weights and I try to up my weight as often as I can. I have gotten better at burst training and sprints and I ran a mile in 6:31 last year during the Iron Mom competition.
It has been a challenge to strengthen my core, but I can definitely see a difference and I’m going to continue to practice so I can get stronger. Devan pushes me everyday to challenge myself and I’m thankful to have a trainer who cares so much because if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you…and without him I probably wouldn’t do that!
