Burn is by far the best gym in Louisville! I have tried just about every gym in the city and I have never been a member as long as I have at Burn without getting bored and/or injured. The trainers at Burn truly care about you and your progress and work with you individually in each group training session. They also encourage focus meetings to discuss nutrition, goals, and even work on certain exercises that you want to improve. The complimentary child watch is one of my favorite aspects of the gym as a busy, working mom. I have loved my time at Burn so far as well as the amazing results I’ve seen inside and out! Huge advocate and fan of this gym and community!! I can happily say I've been a part of burn for over 6 years and have not looked back once. Burn is the place I realized how much I enjoy physical fitness and pushing myself to reach higher levels. A Burn Boot Camp workout is 45 minutes and includes an active warm-up, a challenging workout (scalable to all fitness levels), and a finisher.
This is a combination of dynamic warmup exercises where you will prepare your body to work out and receive a demonstration of exercises from your certified trainer. During the demonstration, your trainer will go over the proper form and show multiple ways to modify all exercises.
Your trainer will move around the room during camp providing our signature personal training in a group setting. Expect high-fives, words of encouragement, great music, and lots of endorphins.
We end each camp with a “finisher.” And trust us, the name says it all! Finishers last less than five minutes and are often the most challenging part of the workout. They pull everyone together to help push each other through and are a great way to track how strong you are becoming.
“Two claps on two.” It’s how Burn Nation ends each camp, acknowledging our community, hard work, and our journey to strength and self-confidence.
