An incredible program that pushes you hard, but is also incredibly supportive. All the staff actually want their members to reach their fitness goals, and it's beyond evident. I'd like to give Elizabeth Mair a personal shoutout. I am very new and she has been incredibly helpful, uplifting, encouraging, and helps me with my form without embarrassing me in front of the class. She physically gets on my level to block me off from the rest of the class to give gentle constructive criticism. She was made to be a trainer!
When my gym spontaneously closed, I genuinely believed I would never find a workout or gym climate I enjoyed that much ever again. After a month of sitting on the couch, I dragged my feet (kicking and screaming and whining) to Burn Pittsford and I've been hooked ever since. If my old gym reopened tomorrow, I would stay at Burn (sorry, old gym). The instructors are welcoming and encouraging, pushing me to go further and dig deeper. Despite being plagued with near constant illness this fall/winter, I've been excited to get on a routine and get to the gym whenever I am feeling well. it makes me happy to get up at 6am. I absolutely love Burn and appreciate the community greatly (even though I am not a high five kind of person lol). Thanks for taking my workouts to the next level!
I can’t say enough good things about Burn. The workouts are different every day and they change things up just enough to keep you interested, but not too much that you can’t see progress in various exercises from doing them over and over. I played sports in high school (and really missed that team feeling) - this gym brings me back to that amazing feeling of having challenging exercises that really push you and a close-knit team who is going through everything with you and cheering you on. There are people of all ages, abilities, fitness levels, and backgrounds all working together and supporting each other. The most special thing about Burn is the community. The trainers all knew (and remembered) my name by the first class I took with them (some literally knew and remembered my name before they even trained a camp with me). They are all so loving, caring, and genuinely want you to succeed and live your best life. The group of people who workout here are also so kind. People will cheer you on when they notice you achieving a record in camp or trying something new that you’ve never done before. People will go out of their way to support you and cheer you on. I went through a rollercoaster of milestones at the end of 2022 (from getting married to getting my car totaled in a car accident). The people and every single trainer at this gym cheered and celebrated me through my highest highs and supported me through the lowest lows, whether they realize it or not. It’s indescribable how special this place is.
After years of working out on my own at the gym, i knew i needed something different and was feeling really lost. Then i found Burn and it was a game changer for me! I never thought group style fitness would be my thing but now i will never go back. I love how challenging the workouts are and how i leave every camp feeling like i pushed my self to the max. The thing i love about burn is that it’s so simple, i know that if i can just manage to get my shoes on in the morning and get there, my workout will be done for the day. All i have to do is show up and they tell me exactly what to do and how to do it. The trainers are attentive and push me to be my best. The community is so friendly. Burn is more than a gym, it’s a community! I cannot imagine ever going to a different gym. It’s the most challenging, fun , 45 minute workout. Every day brings new challenges which is what I love so much about it. The trainers are so supportive and friendly. Can’t say enough good things!

A Burn Boot Camp workout is 45 minutes and includes an active warm-up, a challenging workout (scalable to all fitness levels), and a finisher.
This is a combination of dynamic warmup exercises where you will prepare your body to work out and receive a demonstration of exercises from your certified trainer. During the demonstration, your trainer will go over the proper form and show multiple ways to modify all exercises.
Your trainer will move around the room during camp providing our signature personal training in a group setting. Expect high-fives, words of encouragement, great music, and lots of endorphins.
We end each camp with a “finisher.” And trust us, the name says it all! Finishers last less than five minutes and are often the most challenging part of the workout. They pull everyone together to help push each other through and are a great way to track how strong you are becoming.
“Two claps on two.” It’s how Burn Nation ends each camp, acknowledging our community, hard work, and our journey to strength and self-confidence.
